The Brothers Grinn have been privileged to work with Princess Cruise Lines and Ignited over the past few months. This behind the scenes video is made with a Canon 7D. The Canon is our new toy, and we can’t speak highly enough about it.

Brother André is a winner. His mother has been saying that for years.

Each year The Association of Independent Creative Editors (AICE) sponsors a trailer competition for assistant editors. The young talent must take an existing motion picture and cut a 60 second trailer that changes the genre. The famed Winnebago Awards are given out to the three best entries. We are proud to announce that this year André Query finished in first place. This is his winning trailer. The Brothers Grinn would like to thank Union Editorial for all of their support.

The Brothers Grinn just bought a Canon 7D and we were lucky enough to have our friend Mike Marantz test out the unit with a lensbaby. These are the results:

The Brothers Grinn just finished piecing together a new highlight reel. This is just a taste of some work we have done over the last few years. Stay tuned for some new spots in early 2010.

About a year ago The Brothers Grinn did some work for Carl’s Jr. We always try to have fun on our sets, and this was no exception.

A few years ago the Brothers decided to partake in the Heinz spec commercial contest. We never finished our main submission due to a problem with animation, but we did submit three very silly spots. We did all the VO as improve and then cut the stories out of that 2 hour session. Many of our friends provided their hand, and Brother Ken’s wife made the costumes. We thought we would share this old gem, not as a serious piece of work, but as a reminder of how fun this job can be.
